What one film paints as a tale of rebellious youth and tragic glamour, the other reclaims as a somber pursuit of justice. Through this shift in narrative framing—from folk heroes to dangerous criminals—we see how law enforcement’s presence behind the camera transforms not just the story, but how we choose to remember it.
